The tournament was co-hosted by video-game enthusiast Sonny Sandoval –best known as the lead singer of the multi-platinum rap-rock band P.O.D.– and popular on-air video game personality, Tina Wood. The best teams in the world fought it out for the not -too -shabby $30,000 purse!
The featured the use of the Gamecaster Cybercam S2, a patent-pending camera technology that creates a 360° view of the “world” inside a game. This remarkable advance allows a professional sports cameraman to shoot a videogame tournament with the precision and fluidity of a real-life pro sports events.
